More obits

Meaning no disrespect, I must share these lines from actual obituaries published in our local paper in the past year.

Rick took his final journey on the wings of the eagle to heaven in the early hours of Tuesday, July 2nd.        He is survived  by his wife and his beloved cat, Precious Lynn.

Wilma became an angel on the wings of a beautiful indigo bunting.

May he walk in the next world on a country road under the cool shade of oaks and sugar maples. May he fish brook trout in the early morning with those who went before. May he live in one single moment of perfect joy.

Steve left the harbor and began his journey. Wind filled his sails and a path of sunbeams sparkled on the waters and marked his way.

Gallop free and fast through the heavens, _________.

___________ ascended to the heavens, a twinkling star where she will dance and shine on all of us. Please keep an eye out for the stars that she shoots down on all of us.

About twofelines

What to say? I love my family and friends. I also love kids, cats, and books. Oh, and potato chips and Cheez-its. I am a retired teacher who still loves to be in the classroom, so now I am a substitute teacher.
