Love You

Love you.

Simple words  to end a phone conversation, this was something new to me although it is quite prevalent now.

I am forever grateful that I picked this up from unavoidable eavesdropping in the Teacher’s Room about 23 years ago. (Thanks, Lisa.)

Immediately I began the practice – at first with my children and then gradually trying it out with dear friends.

Rather than feeling automatic, it reminds me of the important place each has in my life. Hearing it in return is comforting and reassuring.

Love is not just for Valentine’s Day.

About twofelines

What to say? I love my family and friends. I also love kids, cats, and books. Oh, and potato chips and Cheez-its. I am a retired teacher who still loves to be in the classroom, so now I am a substitute teacher.
